German Television does first Edward Snowden Interview, 1-26-14 (English)

edward_snowden_german_tv_interview_140126_snipFound this at RMN, here. Apparently the first YouTube video was taken down (surprise, surprise).
I found the interview very enlightening. Mr. Snowden is very well spoken, and appears to be very deliberate in selecting his words precisely, and very conscious of what he says.
It may be viewed at the RMN link, or at the LiveLink site below.
The transcript may be viewed at the link below.
[Kp closing note, after listening to this video, it is very clear to me that many elements of this "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" corporation/conglomeration, are the same as elements of what was known as "Nazi Germany". In particular, in the final paragraph of the transcript, note the two bolded statements below:
"It’s interesting because he [President Obama] mentions three felonies. What he doesn’t say is that the crimes that he has charged me with are crimes that don’t allow me to make my case. They don’t allow me to defend myself in an open court to the public and convince a jury that what I did was to their benefit. The espionage act was never intended, it’s from 1918, it was never intended to prosecute journalistic sources, people who are informing the newspapers about information that’s of public interest... So it’s... illustrative that the president would choose to say someone should face the music when he knows the music is a show trial."
Sounds like a bit of a "Herr Goebbels" type operation to me.]
