Where Oh Where Is Maliki?   Oh Where Oh Where Can He Be?

BeastMaster:   With this news, can you suggest an ETA for what we seek?

coyoteTx:   Can someone tell explain this to me in simple terms? I don't want to assume the wrong thing.............Thanks

BeastMaster:   Ralph. Is this 24 - 48 hrs your thoughts or what XXXXX has shared in the past?

Preacher Man:  Ill take a stab at it, I just read an article, where they want to put 500.00 in everyones pocket in Iraq, I truly believe we have the right personnel in place in Iraq, that truly do love their country, time will tell, but, I also believe, that time is on our side, and in their best interest, to keep the Iraqui people, feeling positive, about not only their government but their country.
~~~
  The article, wasnt necessarily the HCL, Im thinking we are close, as in real close.
Abadi citizen calls to the allocation of $ 500 per family of oil imports
ISCI   BAGHDAD / obelisk: block called citizen, on Sunday, Prime Minister-designate Haider Abadi to the allocation of $ 500 per family of Iraqi oil imports and included in the budget proposals for 2014.
The MP said the bloc Hashim al-Moussawi, in a press statement received "obelisk" a copy of it, "Prime Minister-designate Haider Abadi, the allocation of $ 500 per family of Iraqi oil imports and included in budget proposals for the year 2014," noting that "Abadi him to put in program priorities application paragraphs of the Constitution until he sees the ordinary citizen owner of wealth. "
He called al-Moussawi, Abadi to "open the doors of the executive institutions, starting from the prime minister and end in front of the smallest Foundation executive control efforts and financial resources disbursed views," stressing the importance of "follow-up rampant corruption in the body of the state which is no less dangerous for the threat of terrorism."
 JBG:   XXXXX...if you have the time to give me your opinion about this I would appreciate it...I posted this yesterday in one of my posts and it is still a concern to me....I understand from your post yesterday that we need Maliki to be gone because Turki is feeling threatened by Maliki....
but what difference does it make if he is in country or out of the country...that nut job can still do damage from wherever he goes by ordering some of his goons who are still in Iraq to do harm to the PTB in Iraq...IYO how do they protect themselves from harm from this guy just because he is out of Iraq....
I over think things sometimes....but this is a concern of mine....what do you think is going to be done to stop this nut forever..
Ralph:    I believe our heavy hitting posters have stated this.....i'm hoping as well!!!
coyoteTx:   Preacher Man, I did see that article and believed it to be a part of HCL, which would bring us that much closer to our blessings.  I'm just trying to clarify if we are assuming correctly or incorrectly.....
Preacher Man:   Yes Sir, I was just leaving the door open.
BeastMaster:  Thank you. Do you understand this to be 500 dinars... Not dollars, correct? Would this be on a monthly basis?
Preacher Man:  Im thinking it is in dinars, wouldnt be much buying power at the moment, but, coming soon, SAnta will be arriving.
Preacher Man:   I meant dollars, sorry, 500 dinar wouldnt be worth much..
Greg:     Thanks XXXXX and Tlar and everyone... I am sure it said $500 dollars. Remember, $500 is a good chunk of money to these people, they are used to earning just $4,000 per year.
Danny Griffin:  yea greg, $500. dollars would be quite a bit.  500 dinars, not so much. like you, i hope this means something good.
Beast Master:  I guess I'm confused. How can this be in dollars? We assume the RV is coming by which we assume Iraq accepts article 8 of IMF and dealing in 1 currency. Couple to many assumptions in there. Please clarify where wrong. How/why would they receive dollars? If this dollars than I don't see how it's an indicator to HCL and imminent RV.
Preacher Man:  I think they will share the oil profits when and at the same time they change a value cause, $500 to every family is a lot of dinars and, the CBI wants to keep all the larger notes in and in now. Not sure on the figures but to give $500 (at least 500,000 dinars, roughly) to what of the 33 million Iraqi's that are families is a lot of dinar distributions.
This looks to me to be the implimentation of the HCL. If it is in the 2014 budget as this says I think we are standing on the door step and Iraq has the door partially open
BlueyesinLevis:   Law of zzzzIndebtedness.. is gonna call for all contracts . debts,etc to remain whtever they are in the value of USD... the IQD will change.. the USD will be the constant.
-So if they are talking about 500 USD as a value.. that is what they mean.. wether it is paid in USD or dinar post RV...
-I would be willing to bet they are NOT going to be paying out any triple zero IQD.... I expect it would likely be paid on smart cards.. digitaly.. AFTER a change in the value.   JMHO
DreamWeaver:  Agree, Blue.  Electronic payments and not paper currency.  "zzzzindebtedness
Schiz:   I'll just chuck in here too that mosul dam has been liberated :D  breaking news people, 8pm Iraqi time!
Investor 1:  Schiz,  @BBCBreaking: Kurdish forces in northern Iraq take control of Mosul dam captured by Islamic State jihadists, Kurdish officials say http://t.co/XvvVPpMhC4
Tlar:  I would like to repeat a saying by Blue - - - tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.
Jaxjags:   I want to repeat myself from a previous post:   Lojak and TLAR..........I believe the CBI/Turki is at bat. Turki and the Board of Governors have what they want and now we wait to see now quickly they move.
Remember, the day after the conclusion of the elections (28 April 2014) Turki stated that he would not hestiate to COMPLETE the project once the political is decided (based upon the translation)
So,.......political decided.............I believe that the Board of Governors understand that a completed GOI and a new budget is of no value to Iraq unless the status of the IQD changes soooooon in staus and VALUE.  Just my opinion.
XXX:  I read that Ramadi was liberated yesterday, too. ISIS is on the run, just like we want them to be. Stability is achieved with the exit of Maliki. Security is being achieved right now.
jeff19:   LOOKS LIKE THE HCL IS INCLUDED IN THE 2014 BUDGET
Tlar:   Jeff, the HCL is about revenue sharing amongst the sects.  The $500 per family was an idea that Sadr promoted way back when allowing every Iraqi citizen to share equally 25% of the budget.
Although I don't do the math on the budget it is possible that this is what this is or it is just a bonus from the new government as a way to say thank you.  tlar
On Kurdish Demands …..
  Tlar Comment:   - these demands are not unreasonable and should be accepted.  They are demanding to keep the disputed territories.
They want to be able to produce as much oil as they can and contract and sell it themselves while only taking their share.   This is another decentralization of Federal control.
And lastly they want to increase their proportion of the budget raising the issue that they have more people as a result of the disputed territories becoming a part of Kurdistan.   tlar
Sources in the National Alliance, the Kurdistan leader Massoud Barzani told the Kurdish coalition that they prefer coming of a new prime minister from outside the Dawa Party, and that their participation in the new ministry formed by the party for the third time in nine years is not their favorite thing.
The same sources said that the Kurds raised the ceiling of their demands on the eve of the formation of the new government, and that their demands are now focused on increasing the proportion of the overall budget in the state allocated to them and to recognize the de facto who grew up in the disputed areas and the adoption of the legitimacy of the Kurds in control and annexation of the region ...
 also included demands prior approval of the Government The new oil contracts concluded by the region with countries and companies in the world and allow the province to continue the production and export of unhindered
 She explained the sources that the Kurds may prefer this time to get the oil ministry or financial, rather than foreign, noting that the negotiations between the National Alliance and the Kurdish parties will not be easy, but do not will be the toughest of the coalition negotiations with the national list and the Union of the national forces and Arab List.
Kurdistan On Article 140
BlueyesinLevis:   Kurdistan confirms that the assignment of the article "140"
BAGHDAD / ... confirmed that the Kurdistan Alliance MP Najeebeh Njie, Sunday, stuck to the Kurdistan region article "140" of the Iraqi Constitution on the disputed areas.
-She said Najib in an exclusive statement to "Eye of Iraq News", that "the disputed areas are areas belonging to the provincial government and can not be waived," noting that "the number of electoral seats obtained by the Kurds from those areas in the April elections past prove that they owners of majority where ".
-She added that "the Government of Arbil demanded the federal government conducts the census and statistics for this area to end the controversy around" , pointing out that "Article 140 has approved the disputed areas for the benefit of the region."
-Article 140 of the Constitution to hold a referendum in the disputed areas between the Kurdistan region's autonomous and the central government in Baghdad and especially Karagok.anthy / 10
  http://aynaliraqnews...news&id22=18165
Tlar:  This is their justification for getting more money than the 15% to administer these areas.  tlar
BlueyesinLevis:   Yep.. it is all about moving forward... the Kurds will administer the Kirkuk area.... and so they DESERVE a higher percentage.. based on accurate census numbers.... Fair is fair.
-And the people of Kirkuk are thrilled to have the Kurds be the local governing authority... out from under the  limbo they have been in under Maliki's Regime.
-140 is and has been a HUGE part of what we have waited so long for.. this is and has been very encouraging.. ever since the Kurds took matters into hand and moved in and occupied the disputed region.
