Alabama Supreme Court upholds natural marriage!

Alabama Supreme Court upholds natural marriage!

The Alabama Supreme Court's ruling to uphold their state's constitutional law for marriage is a tremendous victory in our war to affirm natural marriage. The Liberty Counsel legal team is deeply immersed in this battle in Alabama and in other states nationwide.

Please see my important update below – Mat
.

The Supreme Court of Alabama, in a 7-1 decision, has affirmed natural marriage and ordered Alabama's probate judges to immediately stop issuing illegal marriage licenses to "same-sex" couples.

The ruling represents a significant shift of momentum in the "same-sex" marriage battle, and is a direct challenge to the orders of U.S. District Court Judge Callie Granade, who in January purported to overturn Alabama's marriage laws. The ruling of the Alabama Supreme Court offers the most forceful and clearly articulated rebuttal to date of the imaginative arguments for same-sex “marriage" employed by federal courts.

The Alabama Supreme Court's decision is historic, and is one of the most researched and well-reasoned opinions on marriage to be issued by any court in the country.

+ + The ruling grants in full Liberty Counsel's emergency mandamus petition.

In the petition and in a subsequent brief, Liberty Counsel demanded on behalf of its Alabama clients that Alabama's probate judges obey Alabama's Constitution and laws.

As a result of this ruling, Alabama's probate judges must immediately cease issuing illegal same-sex marriage licenses.

The Court said: "It could not be clearer that the public — the people of Alabama — have an interest in the respondents' faithful compliance with Alabama's marriage laws." Reinforcing the point, the Court added, “It is beyond question that the duty to issue marriage licenses only in accordance with Alabama law is a duty owed to the public for its benefit.  The failure to perform that duty damages the framework of law and institutions the people have chosen for themselves."

The unlawful issuance of marriage licenses to same-sex couples by Alabama probate judges was the result of federal Judge Callie Granade's January rulings, when she purported to determine that Alabama's marriage laws violate the U.S. Constitution. Though she had no power to extend her ruling to the entire state, some activist probate judges across Alabama who were not subject to her ruling took it upon themselves to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, in clear violation of Alabama law.

+ + The Alabama Court upheld the rule of law!

Today's Supreme Court ruling, however, not only restores the rule of law in Alabama, but also forcefully challenges and methodically dismantles the opinion of Judge Granade and other judges who have erroneously held that the U.S. Constitution requires states to redefine marriage:

"[W]e find that the provisions of Alabama law contemplating the issuance of marriage licenses only to opposite-sex couples do not violate the United States Constitution . . . .

[W]hat [Judge Granade] has done is to declare an entirely new concept of 'marriage' a fundamental right under the guise of the previously understood meaning of that institution.  It is, plainly and simply, circular reasoning—it assumes the conclusion of the matter, i.e., that marriage as newly defined is a fundamental right, in the premise of the question without acknowledging that a change of terms has occurred."

Alabama Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore recused himself and took no part in the Court's decision.

+ + Now is the time for Americans who are concerned about the moral collapse in our nation to rise up and take action by standing for natural marriage!

This victory is a tremendously positive step! Right now, Liberty Counsel is also involved in numerous cases to affirm that natural marriage is not subject to redefinition by a court or legislature. We are aggressively defending the rights of citizens to declare that natural marriage is the standard for their state and locality.

We are standing with Christian business owners who decline same-sex "marriage" business, which would force them to participate in something that violates their consciences. We are empowering business owners to stand against the personal assaults, demonstrations, and demonization by radical homosexual activists.

My exact RECORDED conversation with Wells Fargo read it and take note:

"Listen, my associate with our commodities trading firm a while back acquired the Zim currency by a stroke of sheer luck before hyperinflation set in. I realize you aren't a financial advisor, yet as a bank manager I was curious if you could just tell me the current Zim rates."

"I'm looking up that information. I'm sorry, I do not see any information on the Zim available as its entirely blank."

"Wait a second, are you telling me it shows a "blank" screen!?"

"Well yes, we do not carry information on the Zim. For live rates of currencies I suppose look on the internet perhaps." "We also have never dealt with anything like the Dong, Zim or Dinar."

Word for word!!!!
NOW FOLKS, THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!! The current rates for Zim cannot be blank, also the screens cannot be unavailable ever. So as this is in fact happening at banks nationwide, it indicates an unprecedented glitch has occurred.

Either all of them know nothing at all, or something quite LARGE is now in motion!!

3 steps forward, 5 steps back...the universe knows you are in favor of suppressing your fellow humans and their love. I am deeply disappointed.

I forgive you and still accept you all and all of those who are for oppression of ANY human or creature. You're on the wrong side of history.

Much love to you all.

Forgiveness is for one who has committed a sin and repented. What sin has been committed that you are forgiving? In your world there is no sin and no wrong, so how can you feel or think the way you do? There can not be forward or backward. Only now!
Your pomposity in believing you are above the people who don't think it's good for humanity to put one's private part into another man's excrement hole is very telling! We love you too and pray you repent of loving the sin you may be addicted to.
