Dumpster Diver Note Goes Viral: Restaurant Owner Leaves Touching, Surprising Note To Dumpster Diver
“That really, it hurt me that someone had to do that,” she said.
So, Jiron decided to do something about the situation. She wanted to make an offer to the mystery dumpster diver. She opted to write a brief note offering free food during business hours.
“To the person going through our trash for their next meal, you’re a human being and worth more than a meal from the dumpster. Please come in during business hours for a classic Pb&j, fresh veggies, and a cup of water at no charge. No questions asked. – your friend, the owner.”The touching note, which was placed on the window inside the restaurant, quickly caught the attention of patrons, reports WGN-TV. However, the note has gone viral since a photo of it was shared online. The note has garnered attention from thousands via social media. The restaurant owner has also been applauded by several news outlets for the touching gesture.
Jiron plans to leave the note in the window until the mystery dumpster diver stops in. But, unfortunately, the person has not come forward.
