TAKE ACTION: Protect Wolves From Brutal Hunting, Trapping, And Poisoning!

The Obama Administration has announced plans to abandon federal protections for gray wolves in nearly the entire continental United States.
Take action now to prevent this premature delisting!
Dear Shirley,
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service may remove Endangered Species Act protections for gray wolves across nearly the entire lower-48 states. This would be disastrous for gray wolf recovery in the United States. Help convince the Obama administration to not prematurely delist the gray wolf across the U.S.!
The recovery of gray wolves is an American success story, from their reintroduction in the northern Rocky Mountains to their comeback in the western Great Lakes states. But there are few, if any, gray wolves in the vast majority of their former range. If the Fish and Wildlife Service removes federal protections, wolves in the Pacific Northwest, California, the southern Rocky Mountains, and the Northeast will face even more difficult odds than they do already.
In 2011, Congress stripped federal protections for gray wolves in most of the northern Rockies. The brutal assault on wolves that commenced in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho highlights the increasingly hostile anti-wolf policies of states now charged with ensuring the survival of gray wolf populations. Will you lend gray wolves your voice to prevent more wolves from facing this same fate?
Maintaining federal protections for wolves across the lower-48 states is important for preserving already limited opportunities for wolves to recover in additional parts of the United States, and to encourage wolves to mingle with the Yellowstone population—the most genetically isolated population of gray wolves in the northern Rockies.
It is critical that the administration keep national protections for the gray wolf. Now, administration officials need to hear from you to encourage them not to remove federal protections for gray wolves.
Thank you for speaking out,
Marjorie Mulhall

P.S. The Obama administration needs to hear from each and every wolf supporter in order to back down on their plan. Please weigh in now, before it’s too late.

Ridiculous, I am sure this person is an East coaster .... who is going to protect the elk from this over population of wolves. I love wolves and do not want to see them go extinct but they cannot go unmanaged which is what these crazy enviros want. Huge elk herds have been wiped out ... wolves kill for sport and are very selective on what they prefer to eat. They kill cow elk with calf and eat only the unborn fetus leaving the cow carcass. We should never sacrifice one wild animal for another. Do some research ... get both sides of the story before pressi n g the TAKE ACTION button.

This is pure bull chit. Here wolves are killing peoples dogs. Next it will be children. They are not afraid of people, and are even going into the towns. We have too many wolves here, they are thriving, and the deer, moose, rabbits are disappearing. I dare any of these law making jerks to come camping here.

Unfortunately those that live in cities and no clue are the ones making the decision about protecting the "romantic" wolf. There is nothing romantic or mystical about the wolf. They are PREDATORS. There is a reason why certain species naturally become extinct. For instance, what kind of havoc would we have if the dinosaur still existed? Natural Predators are reducing the deer herds in upper Michigan, not only the wolf but the cougar as well, yes there are cougar in Michigan, the DNR has finally confirmed what they can no longer deny for all the pictures and video footage being released by the private sector.
City dwellers do not understand that as the wolf population grows and there is no longer food in the wild then they will migrate to the cities for their food.
There was a vote recently in Michigan and due to the dense population in the lower peninsula metro areas they voted to continue to "protect" the woff with no regard to what is happening to livestock and pets in the rural communities because of these predators...wolves are not dogs. There should be a restructuring and separation of voting, for instance issues that only affect the cities should then by voted on by the cities and issues that mainly affect the rural areas should then by voted on in those areas. This is what takes place when local communties make the decsiion for their local communites and how it use to be and why there needs to be a balance of power. It is important for twp, city, and the county to take back their authorithy from the STATE and FEDERAL governments to protect the rights of the people in those communities and not allow insance edicts from the state and fed to endanger families and their livlihoods in rural areas. Time to get back to basics people and stop allowing those that have no clue dictate to you what is best for you and your community.
